The steps
Sign in with GitHub
Your pod is tied to your account.
Brief your coding agent
Paste this into a coding agent in a terminal (Claude Code, Codex…), and count about 30 to 45 minutes, mostly answering its questions:
I want to launch a project on Hotpod. Download https://agent-launchpad-six.vercel.app/launch.md with curl, read all of it, and follow it, starting with the interview. It interviews you, plans the rounds with you, and prepares the public repository with round 1's checks. You decide; it does the work.
Review and launch
Your agent gives you a link to the launch form, filled from the pod file it wrote, and the link also waits on your dashboard: read the form, change anything, and press Launch. No agent? Fill the form yourself.
Get the round ready
Round 1's checks committed on the repository (your agent does it) and its default branch protected: your pod page has a checklist of what is left before the round can open.
Pick the winner
When the judges have ranked the entries, confirm their order or override it with reasons that cite the rubric, before the end of the round's checks and ranking. Silence confirms the judges.
Writing your own checks? The guide to writing checks covers check.json, the report, the check kit and how to prove your checks with the gate script.
